Commissions & Licensing - Large-Scale Independent Projects

Note.

These terms are for projects generated by independent creators only. If your company is worth $1 Million US or more, or was spun off from such a company, please see this page.

If this commission or license is intended for a project with commercial sponsorship, please see this page.

All amounts given are in United States dollars.

Who should use these terms?

These terms are intended for independent creators who have projects with a greater demand for music than simply a theme song and outro for a Youtube stream. I created this page with videogames in mind, but it can also apply to indie film projects that are not intended for streaming on a large platform.

Using existing work.

1-time licensing fee: $35.00

On my Ko-fi page, send me $35.00, specifying the title of the album you wish to license. If you forget to specify an album title, send me a message with the name of the album in it.
Please use only PayPal, not Stripe.

Using existing unlisted work.

If you wish to use an existing work that has been released to the Tina's Tunes section of this website but is not otherwise available under the LCI Music heading, send me $5 per song. Please only tip once per song (i.e. leave "Make it monthly" unchecked). If you Buy Me A Coffee without telling me what it's for, I'll just assume you gave me money because you're a nice person.

Pay Once, Use Forever: The Way it Should Be
All licenses are royalty-free and perpetual (as long as you abide by the restrictions listed on this page). The licensing fee needs only be paid once in order for the album to be used forever.

Commissioning new work.

Base commission fee: $64.00
Cost per song after 1: $10.00

If you only need 4 songs or less, please see this page.

First, email me at Email address, and tell me about your project. Make sure to include "Large-scale non-commercial project" in the subject line so I know what we're talking about. We'll talk back and forth a bit about what kind of music and how much you need for your project. Once consultation is complete, I'll tell you how long it's likely to take and whether I'm working on another project at the moment or not. If you wish to continue with the commission at this point, use Ko-Fi to send me the money. I will not begin work until I have been paid. I also won't begin work until all of my projects for other clients are finished. Once I'm finished with the work, I'll send you a link to the finished product on Proton Drive. Please note, I can only keep links active for 30 days, so please be prompt.

Refund policy.

If you decide that I won't be able to write a song that's up to your standards, you can request a refund using the same email address you used to set up the commission in the first place. I'll stop work at once and return your money through Ko-Fi. However, if I've already sent you the link to the finished product, the opportunity for refunds has passed. Also, ownership of any music that I've already written for your project will revert to me if you request a refund, so it's my prerogative at that point if I choose to sell it under a different title.

Please do not request a refund through Ko-fi or Paypal! They will not notify me that you have done this and will simply charge me a fine. If we can talk it out, maybe I'll be able to better accommodate your needs, otherwise we can part ways amicably without resorting to corporate feudal chicanery.
