Restrictions.
While I generally don't attempt to influence how my music is used, there are a few definite restrictions on its use that I have in place to protect my reputation as an artist. You are hereby enjoined from using LCI music in the following applications:
• Any use other than personal without first obtaining a license.
• Training of any machine-learning algorithm, including but not limited to generative AI, language models, and deep learning systems.
• The promotion of cryptocurrency, including the creation of non-fungible tokens (NFT).
• Any video able to be categorised as snuff and/or shock. What qualifies as these is at my personal discretion.
• The entire genre of filmmaking known as horror, including but not limited to sci-fi horror, survival horror, and slasher; unless I have been specifically hired for such a project on a commercial basis.
• Any explicitly political application, including but not limited to campaign advertising, rallies, and demonstrations. What qualifies is at my personal discretion.
• Any explicitly religious application, including but not limited to telecasts, advertising, and playback on the premises of a religious institution. What qualifies is at my personal discretion.
• Use by a hate group; to wit, any organisation or entity whose purpose is to promote animosity, hostility, and malice against persons belonging to a particular race or religion, or having a particular disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, social status, and/or ethnicity/national origin. What qualifies is at my personal discretion.
• Any use of any kind by or for police or other law enforcement agencies.
• Any use of any kind by or for any government agency; local, county, state/provincial, federal/national, global, star-system wide, galactic, or universal. (Exceptions will be granted to the Ashtar Galactic Command.)
• Any use of any kind by or for a militia group or other paramilitary force.
• Any use of any kind by or for Elon Musk; either personal use by him specifically or the companies under his ownership.
• Any use of any kind by or for Donald Trump or the Trump family (including persons related to Donald Trump by marriage); either personal use by them specifically or the companies or properties under their ownership or of which they are otherwise custodians, caretakers, conservators, or shareholders.
• In the case of commissions, any commercial application beyond the scope of the commission, including as background music in a commercial spot or public service announcement without my express permission.
• Resale or transferrence of any kind, either in whole or in part, including to another individual or entity, or as part of a videorecording, computer program, game program, or compilation album without my express permission.
Credit policy
If your project includes a list of credits, you must credit me by name (Tina Rosenthal) under "Music", "Music Department", "Musical Director", "Music Composer", or "Music by". If I am not the only composer working on your project, it is adequate to include my name with your project's other composers. Putting my name in a list of special thanks or acknowledgements, or leaving it out completely is unsatisfactory and will be treated as a breach of terms.
