Since yesterday, a few new things have happened on Greenweed Island. First, let's talk relationships. Abby decided to try getting together with Gina; she asked my opinion on how to proceed, and this time I told her to just wing it. See, the thing is, I'm not too sure that, in spite of how allergic Tomodachi Life is to homosexual relationships, that Gina isn't more interested in Tina. I mean, right...
So, due to her feelings for Tina, Gina declined Abby's offer. When Abby went to try again, bringing along a gift of a hypnotiser, Gina had Betty play interference and deliver her denial instead. So, naturally, I had to spend a lot of time consoling Abby. Poor girl. Anyway, she seemed to enjoy her vacation to the United States' tourist attractions. Don't worry, it was 2014, nothing bad was happening politically in this country.
Also, hypnotisers. WHY is everyone giving me a feckin' hypnotiser today? Is that like the "it" thing to give now that it's not Christmas anymore? Is that what we're giving people for the Feast Day of the Festive Skeleton, then? Or is it just because the store had too many in stock after Christmas and is now so desperate to shift them that they're giving them away with other purchases? I don't know. At this point, whenever someone gives me a hypnotiser, I just use it on them. Why not. You're gonna give me this thing, I'm gonna test it out on you.
Anyway, back to relationships. The first thing that happened after I got back from the harbour this morning was Charles Martinet decided he was absolutely head-over-heels in love with Riza's Mii, gremlin. I decided I was Done with romantic relationships not working out, so I had him approach her at the café
Unlike Mickey and Abby, Charles played it cool and just asked gremlin if they wanted to start dating over coffee. Her response?
It's interesting, because gremlin got with Waluigi on Riza's island and she got with Waluigi's voice actor on Greenweed Island. Oh, right, Waluigi's former voice actor. Nintendo sure shafted the real Charles Martinet, huh. Anyway, not talking about that. Just, don't attach yourself to Nintendo artistically or you'll get chewed up, spit out, and made homeless for 5 months.
Finally, in the relationship department, Miko lost a rap battle to Penny and they had a big fight at home later. Over a teddy bear that looks surprisingly like Hank Hill.
Fortunately, with a little help, they made up and are friends again, as demonstrated here, as Penny, Bella, and Betty all came over for a dance party at Miko's place. Just don't disturb the neighbours, please.
Other miscellaneous things that happened include Max taking up ballet, Brody throwing a cookout, Hank getting rodent jumpscare, and Betty getting a kitten.
Also, I am sorry to report that Steve Harvey was found dead in the park. Foul play is suspected, but the Greenweed Police Department have no leads at the moment. Sergeant Patrick Bateman went on the record to state, "Don't worry, everyone thought he was boring anyway."
