Behold! A run-on paragraph

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, so I thought I should reset my regular-people hours for it. All that ended up happening was I lay there for 6 hours with my eyes closed. Only for about 2 of those hours was I actually asleep. I was rather rudely awakened by my ride ringing me, saying she was here to take me to my appointment, 2 hours early. I said "14:45" when I set up the transit, someone put it in wrong and wrote "12:45". I hauled my sleep-deprived ass out the bed and put on something presentable, hoping to whatever supernatural being was listening that I could get in to see the doctor early. As luck would have it, his 13:00 appointment had cancelled, so I got in. I won't say what I was going to the doctor for, because of reasons, but I was done by 13:25, so I rang the transit company and asked to adjust my time. The driver arrived 15 minutes late for the new time, but at least he got there and I wasn't stuck standing around until 15:45. He was going a strange route south and it turns out he had to pick up someone else. I HATE getting double-booked. It's happened basically every time I've ever done this. I think it only DIDN'T happen 3 times. Anyway, so we ended up out on the new frontier in the south end of town to a road that simply did not exist the last time I'd been this far south. Fortunately, this other passenger was more than happy to take the role of small-talk conversationalist off my hands, for which I was quite grateful. It took about half an hour to get from this brand-spankin' new part of town to my flat from the '70s but at least I got back in one piece, I am not dying, all these walks and stair runs I've been doing have caused me to lose a little weight, and I was even able to get the nurse to change my preferred name on my chart so I don't get deadnamed anymore. It's gonna look a bit weird, having "Tina" written next to the scan they took of my driver's license photo, depicting a scruffy-looking man, but that's their problem, not mine. Despite running on 2 hours sleep, I had enough energy to make a burrito for lunch and mess around on the couch before falling asleep again for about 4 hours when my "Take Your Meds, Tee" alarm woke me up. I genuinely hope I can sleep some more after I come back from my morning stroll, cos I am WIPED. OUT. Yesterday was one of those days that's gonna take about 4 days to fully recoup from.
