I need a section just for The Sims

"So make one!" I'm trying to, but I'm getting hung up on Neocities' restriction against archive files for non-supporters. I would love to support the project, but I have barely enough money to get to the grocery store and back, so I'll have to come up with some other option.

"Why not just use ModTheSims?" I do use ModTheSims, but all of my recent stuff has been for The Sims Classic. If MTS ever had a Sims 1 section, they don't anymore; and I've been thinking about The Sims Exchange on the old official website lately. I spent so much time at the library back in school reading the graphic novels people made with The Sims on the exchange, it's not even funny. For the first three or four months, it was even before I actually even had a copy of the game myself; I would drive myself nutters looking at all the stuff the game could do and thinking of the possibilities. Now that I have to ability to write my own code, 23 years later, I think a proper Sims fansite is in order. I have all the UI elements made already, it's just a matter of being able to link to the ZIP files somewhere, and I haven't any feasible means of doing that.

In reference to The Sims 4, however; I'm waiting until 5 other people upload lots to the website before I do another one. For a start, I can bypass the Lots moderation queue now and I don't want anyone to think I'm barfing up some sidedefs and calling it a house. Despite the perceived complexity of the design, I finished BeauShack ManHouse in record time—2 days. Not 2 days solid-state, that is; two separate sessions, lasting about about 5 hours. In contrast, the Flying J motel took a week to finish... mostly because of some indecision about what to do with the void space between the office building and the suites. I'm still not entirely satisfied with the solution I came to, but it's a bit late at this stage. Also, I should clarify, I'm waiting for 5 different people to upload lots. Not 2 lots from 1 person, 2 lots from another person, and 1 lot from someone else; 1 lot each from 5 people. If you want me to put a new house up, that's in your power, you know. You can upload lots to MTS as well. Not that I have any ideas at the moment, but that's a "me" problem.

As for The Sims, though; I've got loads and loads of houses, skins, building materials; a few new objects (really nothing more sophisticated than recolours, but if you recall, recolours were the backbone of The Sims Resource back in the day). Well, I'll figure it out sometime.
