"College Welcoming Committee" (30 second sample)
I'm so happy to be playing The Sims 4 again that I've decided to do another installment to Myshuno. Which is good timing, because we've got the 25th anniversary coming up in February. That gives me, actually, less time than I had to do Source Port for DOOM30TH, but the procedure is a lot more streamlined now that I don't have to write notation anymore. Obviously, "Myshuno 2" is a placeholder until I can come up with a better title.
The name "College Welcoming Committee" comes from the name of a skin set I made for The Sims 1 recently that I planned to put on my Sims CC site once I can scare up the money to upgrade to Supporter status here on Neocities. That would give me enough storage I could maintain my current website and make a whole sub-site specifically for The Sims without needing to do much work. But, that's a discussion for a different time. As you can tell, the full orchestra is making a return appearance, as well as several Sims 1 Build Mode-style piano improvs. I can't make any promises, but I'm going to try doing some Mutato Muzika-type stuff this time; organs, cellos, marimbas, and that kind of thing. Also, I'm trying to figure out how to add music to The Sims 3 so I can include a game-compatible mod that will let you hear the music as I intended. I'd make the same mod for the existing Myshuno.
It's going to be a lot of work! But, I don't think 12 tracks is unreasonable, especially as I've got 8 months to get it all sorted. Plus, I've already got the first track finished, so there's that.
