NOTICE
These are merely observations that I've used to get more out of my own life. While I hope something here inspires you, I do not expect that all of these will apply to your particular use-case, and I expect that you are smart enough to know what will work for you and what won't.
Bring a little fun back into your life by mixing half a tablespoon of rainbow sprinkles into your yoghurt. Maybe not the Greek-style stuff, though.
It sounds counterintuitive, but you build energy by doing things. I run up and down the stairs at home and I walk around the neighbourhood.
This also sounds counterintuitive, but you build confidence in your art by making art. You can't draw like that if you never draw. You can't play that song if you never play your instrument.
Humans NEED to create. While computer software and mobile apps can help with day-to-day blahs, put down the electronics and use your hands occasionally.
Spiders are friends. They eat annoying bugs, they spin funny little webs, they have dreams when they sleep, and some even keep froggies as pets. She might startle you when she comes over your bedspread, but she isn't your enemy. Honestly, she doesn't want to be in your room any more than you want her to be there, so just catch her in a jar and let her out in a better place.
If you start feeling lonely at night, turn on more lights, make some tea or coffee, and get a playlist going.
The squirrels know how to tell each other apart. If you look closely enough, you can figure it out too.
Further to making art, keep a pad of PostIts and a sharp pencil nearby everywhere you sit.
It feels better to make your own holiday ornaments than buying mass-produced kitsch. Walmart probably doesn't have an ornament that looks like a Fairlight CMI; that's what Perler beads are for.
