Boy, some people just can't be arsed.

I hate articles and vlogs that are like, "I made 1000 wordarts on TextShit.website with a custom script", and they talk about how they disagree with generative AI and then they detail how they wrote a userscript that made them a shit tonne of random ass stuff on a graphics creator web tool. They take great pains to distance themselves from generative AI while simultaneously imploring people to like, subscribe, follow, or whatever the local term for "engage with my content" is.

First of all, way to miss the fucking point. The idea of these tools, like Textanim, makewordart, and Death Generator, is for you to create something fun without wasting a lot of time chasing down fonts and whatever else online. Like this, for instance...

Socially awkward Meepit. Tries to quit using generative AI, ends up making content anyway.

I'm probably misusing this meme format, but I made that because I wanted to make something. The point is, if you're using a local userscript to churn out rubbish from these tools, you're still just generating mindless content. You're being relatively clean about it, since you're only running your computer off the local mains power grid (and even that isn't true in all cases), but you're still creating the same soulless content that generative AI makes. Okay, maybe your procedurally generated word groupings occasionally hit upon something so absurd it knocks the wind out of you; like "Green the breakfast blat like Nixto, Helvetica's last understatement"; but it's still just content. You generated 1000 piece of shit memes that don't make any sense because you wrote a script. Big fat hairy deal. "Oh, but a procedural userscript can be used for--" Who gives a crap at this stage. The point is to have fun wasting time making stupid little memes to share with the chat, not churn out content using ChatGPT's little brother.

Meepit again. Green the breakfast blat like Nixto, Helvetica's last understatement.

Incidentally, it reads like procedurally generated text, but it actually came from my brain. See what your imagination can do if you'll just let it? Stop thinking in tonnage and start thinking like a kid again. You can do it, you just have to let go of your adulthood for a while.
