I'm pleased to announce that, thanks to donations from some people on here and on Tumblr, my next meds refill is fully paid-for with some left over! What's left will go to the meds refill after that.
However, this is going to be an ongoing thing I'm sorry to say. Rather than refill my t-blocker, I'm going to use this money to refill my blood pressure meds instead, so that'll do me for about 3 months plus a couple weeks (all the Benicar I still have left from the previous refill).
Even though my HRT isn't going to stop me having some kind of profound medical episode, it's worked wonders for my mental health, so i would very much like to still be able to take all of it. All of my meds are ~$40 each. And since I'd be buying the bicalutamide myself without the insurance company playing interference, I could probably order more of it at a time, so probably let's say $70 for that. So, yes. I'm good off Benicar for 3 months, so let's shoot for 60 days' worth of bicalutamide next! And thank you to everyone who donated for all your help!

Riza and I played Mario Kart 7 together last night and... ooooofff.....
So, DS Luigi's Mansion, right? At one point, I got 3 banana skins, which I deploy as a shield right? Then I get a green shell from the next item box. Riza's the only one behind me for at least 50 metres, and I don't know what comes over me, but I drop all 3 banana skins and then, 3 seconds later after I'm sure Riza has hit them all, I throw my shell at them. Now at mostly a standstill, they get crashed into by 5 NPC racers as my lead grows by orders of magnitude. WHAT THE FUCK WAS I THINKING??? Why did I suddenly decide to do that to my own fiancée?? To be fair, I realised what I'd done as soon as I'd done it and felt extremely guilty about it, and I finished that race in 2nd after Riza hit me with a green shell of their own, but DAMN, SON!
Let's just say I can understand how Mario Kart can be a trigger for domestic assault. That police blotter entry I saw that one time is a lot less funny now.
I'm glad to report that they still love me in spite of that. I made them some tomato soup afterwards to apologise.

One of the recent updates to LibreWolf changes the default search engine to noai.duckduckgo.com, which is a nice gesture on behalf of the dev-team. it shows their commitment to resisting genAI and LLM's. However, the gesture is sadly hollow. I've been trying noai.ddg out for a couple days at this stage, and I've noticed that AI-generated results often get included in searches on noai.ddg that would get filtered out on bog-standard DDG with AI results manually turned off. The fact that they created a discrete search engine just for this suggests 2 things to me.

give me some weed and i'll be fast asleep within an hour lol XD it's a better sleep-aid than the progesterone was supposed to be. riza says "power through the eepy feeling" but i've had such trouble sleeping since i was a kid that i'll take it where i can get it.

I'm totally finished writing Pizza Posse Pandemonium at this stage, but I had hoped to make some progress on the Admins & Abstracts audiobook before I released it. Honestly, it doesn't look good for the audiobook rn. A suggestion was made that I could probably find voice actors on Newgrounds, but I don't have an account there and I don't really want to establish one just for this project.
Basically, the reason I want to do an audiobook at all is because of genAI and Firefox Reader View. Obviously, if you have a genAI voice read the fanfic out loud to you, I'm going to come to your house and break all your windows. But, Reader View also will completely kill the intonation, pacing, and emotion of the piece. It's basically the same principle behind why I do page narration. I know most people who read fanfics like to do so with their eyes, but accessibility is always good.
So, either 1 of 2 things will happen before I put up the first part of Pizza Posse Pandemonium:
Incidentally, yes, I do want to make an audiobook out of Pandemonium as well. If you get selected for A&A, I'll most likely be emailing you again with the screenplay for PPP.

Riza and I just found the most photogenic little spider on the ceiling of our flat! Riza is taller than me so they captured her in a jar and we took her out to our garden where I got some of the cutest pics ever. I recognise that some of you don't vibe with spiders, so I'll put the pics under a readmore.

Loads of stuff happened yesterday. First, mum and I went to a food bank at what used to be a methodist church. If the sheer number of people there doesn't tell you everything you need to know about the US economy right now, you aren't paying attention.
Second, Riza made us some food and we watched the 3-part opening episode to ST:DS9 series 2, during which time I got my official notice of termination from the state medicaid programme.
To get us out of the house and prevent me rotting away in bed crying for the rest of the night, Riza suggested we go out. So, we went to the park, then they asked if we wanted to get something to eat. En route out of the park, they go, "Alternatively, we could go to Walmart and I could get you a gift." First, I'm like "well, I think food would be good." However, I'm so curious about this gift that they have in mind that I change my mind and we go to Walmart. The gifts are all too small and way too expensive unfortunately, but we leave with some ground beef substitute and a couple packets of crisps, and we go to Sonic.
"What was the gift going to be?" I hear you asking impatiently. An engagement ring! In the car at home after Sonic, Riza proposed to me. I said yes. I'm still beaming! I love them so much!!
We don't have rings yet, but that's no big deal tbh. Whatever rings we get, mum has offered her engagement and wedding rings for us to have the stones re-set onto new rings that actually fit us, so that was really sweet of her.
Now I've told Neocities and Tumblr, it's time to tell Netpass :D

I feel different than i did when i woke up this morning. I looked at myself in the mirror like I do everytime i go to the bathroom, but I saw someone different standing there this time. It was still me, but a different me. I don't think i can explain it any better than that.

I'm sorry, I know you were expecting an update on Pizza Posse Pandemonium. I'm still writing the end, that's all I can say beyond Pistol Pomni down there. Also, it's pretty important that you read Admins & Abstracts first, so you won't be surprised by certain characters suddenly re-appearing.

incidentally, this is the month i lose access to not only my HRT but also my blood pressure medicine. also, riza's probably gonna be in a tight spot because of the troubles they've been having at work. my bicalutamide is going to run out first, which is $40 for a 30-day supply. any help you might be willing to give would be very much appreciated.
